New ideas and new tools are born in the robust research environment supported by the Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems. In keeping with the Institute’s educational mission, research activities embrace a strong academic component for the educational benefit of graduate students while providing them with valuable hands-on experience that will be useful later in their careers. Projects are often derived from real-world problems that directly relate to both global health and humanitarian as well as industry challenges.
